Departure

I've been with Live Journal for a very short time, and today I find no reason to stay here. It looks as though my presence on the Net (which in itself is relatively recent) will be hereby restricted to bun-fights and parry-thrust stuff, since that seems to be the way of the world at the moment. Fleshly friends or virtual friends, trust is a fragile commodity and when it's broken, it's as good as lost. So I see no purpose in writing here, when I could be devoting my time to writing fiction and non-fiction and to fending off virtual attacks from the growing number of people out there who don't like me for being me. So, bye everyone, I won't be around after next weekend and I'm away in Snowdonia this week, which will give those of you who give a virtual a chance to say farewell by return. Only if you want to, of course.

Lots love,
Kathy

Lunar Eclipse 2007

Right now, as I write, the moon is red as the earth sits juxtaposed between it and the sun. Which seems like a good time to update my Journal to share with a small handful of friends across the globe. Right now, I know that when I go to bed I will sleep pretty much instantaneously. And that when I wake, I will have been escorted out of dreamscape by a man who only exists, apparently, in my mind, but whose face I know very well. Who never does anything improper in dreamscape, but is invariably present within it. And who seems to deem it proper to escort me back to this reality with a gentlemanly gentleness beyond my living experience. Never in my life have I been treated to such immeasurable respect. Never again, I hope, will that measure be even approached by another.

We get, they say, what we deserve. Somewhere in my youth or childhood, I must have done something good.

Love is as love does. Wherever we may find it.

Friends Groups

Today I've spent a lot of time on LiveJournal sifting through Cosmology communities, and I've added 4 new friends. As a result I've discovered the necessity to split my friends into groups, and have 3 friendship groups now - Spirit, Science, and Brass. I may only ever need these three to get me through the rest of my life. If you would like to be in one of these groups and believe you might not be, let me know. I don't want to splurge out a load of stuff on my Friend journal that half my friends aren't interested in. And if more experienced users have any tips on contact etiquette, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!  xx

Moonsongfalcon

Browsing through the 'interest' of Falconry, I came upon Moonsongfalcon in a community called Featheries. She has an extraordinarily beautiful journal format, with exceptional artwork, and in deference to her excellent taste, talent, and Pagan roots I have added her to my Friends list. She even mentions NCIS in one of her journal entries! Now now, Brassics, we mustn't get too excited....

Anyway, aside from all that (which will seem a bit of a mystery to Moonsongfalcon until she starts reading more journal entries from this camp) I'd like to say Hi, Moonsongfalcon, with respect and reverence, for although I chose not to join the Featheries, I believe I found a friend there of kindred spirit. If you don't agree, you can always defriend me!

Oh, and if you (and/or any of your friends) happen to like CSI, you'll have a lot of fun around here.

Lots of love to everyone else, too,
Happy Friday, Happy Brassica

Children of the New Sun Enclave and Collective

I have just joined this community. Because it explores certain avenues of consciousness in which I am particularly interested. I found it under the banner of 'quantum physics'. Should you choose to take a look, and scroll down to one of the owner's earliest entries, you will find there a hypothesis of dreamscape reality which is closely mirrored in my intro post at Xiafalcon, which I've set up as a community to discuss life coaching, interdimensional/celestial threads, and universal applications to our existence.

I've also joined this community in a feeble attempt to extract myself from the heavenly clutches of Jim Brass. Huh.

Post-Birthday Brassica

I watched Lady Heather's Box for my birthday finale last night, having spent the whole day involved with animal pursuits (like morning riding, and flying my hawks - nothing too kinky) and Brassica. Wolfed down three episodes of CSI including the one they screened on Brit TV at 9.00, which was called Double Cross and was extremely quasi-religious in context, therefore ideal birthday treatment. The kind to light a candle to..

Lady Heather, meanwhile, strokes all the parts of male psychology most other women cannot reach, with total control of her faculties - and theirs - throughout the process. I would like to be Lady Heather in the context of corporate projects. To say exactly the right things to tame the most aggressive, pig-headed general manager into fawning submission. Oh, yes. What a fantasy. Wouldn't it be luvverly....

As for Jim, the hero of the moment, in this episode he gets a beautiful opportunity to slide his hand into places other detectives don't get a chance to reach, as a leggy blonde suspect sits on his desk. moves her foot to his lap, and plays unmentionable games I would give half my life to play with her toes. He can tell from his position, since he's quizzed by Grissom on it later, that she's not a natural blonde. Never mind, eh?

Special thanks to dmf, Beaujolais, and Redfox for their birthday greetings. This has been a very memorable one. I got no presents at all from family (by request, incidentally!) and three cards (from Mother and sis, and a card/pressie from my best friend in the village, who bought me the James Morrison CD. Thanks, Debbie!).

Your Brassica greetings were therefore gemstones in their own right, very in keeping with the passions of the moment, and I wish you all lovely things by Order of the Universe, which inevitably dishes up lovely things when least expected.

Happy 2007!

Post-Valentine

The day after Valentines, I find myself here. And nowhere else, at 2pm in the afternoon, just fitting in a quick entry before zooming off to a meeting. What brought me to LiveJournal? Brass, and Beaujolais. A year or so after becoming immersed in CSI, I fell in love, and followed a star, and here I am, sitting out my days in heaven, waiting for the stardust to stop falling.

One day, it'll stop falling, and I'll be looking back on this time, probably with a squirmy mixture of delight and embarrassment. As is always the way with relationships, even virtual ones. Nothing is immune to the forces of change. There's no antidote to the power of cause and effect.

Now I have to go back to work, and return to heaven later.

Thanks, Jim, for setting me free from a cloudy and miserable two years of inertia. I'll credit you with more on that another time.
